Notebook, and binders, and more o my!! (on a budget)

As I blogger earlier, I use a notebook and a binder to store/organize my time and projects. I forgot to mention I also have other notebooks, 1 for my hair journey and another for my jewelry business.
There is no need in spending an arm and a leg on a note book or a binder. They sometimes get ruined by weather or just everyday wear and tear. By all means if you have the funds to purchase expensive note books and binders, esp made for time management projects, then go on an buy what YOU feel works for YOU. Find websites and more after the jump...

I do love nice things such as notebooks. Esp ones you have to travel with that are just so pretty. But I stay in a budget when it comes to certain things. Places like Target, Borders, Barnes and Nobles, Walmart, or even JC Penney's sell very inexpensive branded notebooks. But the most underrated store that has every type of notebook, would have to be the Dollar Store. Any of those Valuemarts, or Value Plus or Dollar Tree. Any stores as such have very nice notebooks. Below I made a list of prices and ideas for storage as well.

So I use a binder to compact all of my notebooks together, but you can store your notes and projects any way you like. Some use a huge notebook that can be separated into tabs, or you can use a binder with dividers. Since the binder I use is very large, it is just used for at home use only and the smaller notebooks or organizers are used for on the go things. Like the market or a Home Depot trip. Check out these ideas for a binder or notebook.

Less than $20.00

**Items found at Staples, Greeting Stores, JCpenney, and Vera Bradley (love love them)

More than $21.00

Marc Jacobs note book very convenient, and it's Marc Jacobs need we say more.

Say what!!

Smythson notebooks can go anywhere from $40.oo up to$ 500.00, they can be found on Barneys.com

Along with notebooks and binders, it is best to have dividers with little tabs on the end for the bigger notebooks or binders. Vera Bradley has some notebooks that come with tabs already.
labels, label makers, extra pens (the dollar store usually don't last that long ). Clipboard, index cards, pencils, pencil sharpeners. Sticky notes, they come in handy when you are traveling. Calenders, sharpie markers w/fine tips, tape, paper clips and binder clips, pouches. I also carry clear plastic folders with pockets for my coupons.

Hope all this helps you out. Thanks for reading.

Starr life and home blog!

Hey ya'll. Come support my NEW blog: http://starrlifeandhome.blogspot.com/
My blog here is mostly TV stuff and fashion and some spiritual stuff too. But I have an itch to craft at times. I love to cook and buy food. I cut coupons out. I guess you can say I am domesticated to an extent. Like for my own pleasures I try and organized because I love order. And I like things tidy and clean. Although I am a little bit messy. But I have learned that as you get older, things just work better organized. So I have decided to start a craft/cooking/organizational blog. Check it out and refer it to your friends. And no I will not stop blogging on this blog. Like I said before this blog is more entertainment and spiritual stuff. Where as my new blog is more for at home/practical everyday lifestyle stuff.
Happy Tuesday!!

How to***Organizing your time/projects

In order for me to be organized is to write everything down. Once I write it down, whether I get to it or not I will always have it written somewhere. I find places to write things the most inexpensive way possible. For example in college, I used a day planner to write down my assignments, exams, trips etc. That was my go to stay or feel completed. Like I said I knew things for me get done when I wrote them down. I forget things all the time and find that writing things down help me out a lot.

Now that I have graduated from college, I have found myself keeping more and more post it notes. But because post it notes aren't together, they end up everywhere in my house. So instead I have decided to put them in my daily notebook. This way I can see them when I check out what I need to do.

At the current moment I have a binder, notebooks, and folders I use to organize home projects. And to also organize any business ventures I have going on.

My binder is divided into sections:
First section is my year projects broken down into categories such as bedroom, kitchen, etc.
Second and third section consists of my blog ideas and posts.
There is also a grocery or store coupon section that also consists of a folder for the coupons.
Another section is for my recipes that I want to try. I usually write those down on index cards and place the index cards for now in a folder. I will soon purchase some recipe plastic card holders.

I also have a notebook I use for everyday organization. It is portable so I usually take that to the grocery store with me. I stick my post it notes on there. Whatever needs to be done daily, usually goes in there. It becomes so much at times so recently I just go bi-weekly. Instead of trying to squeeze so many things into one day.

Hope these tips help. Stay tuned for my wish list.
Thank you
God Bless

What's your favorite season, and would you live all year in that season if you could?

My most fave season is def Fall. It used to be Spring, but that contains so much rain. I'd live in Fall all year round for sure.

70's ⠇⠇⠇First Choice

I love the 70's and had this song in my head. "It's not over, between you and me" I am like who sings that. A disco group from the 70's called "First Choice". They also sing two of my other fave songs, "Dr love" and "Love thang". This 70's female group were from Philly. My dad used to be a DJ, but because of short funds he sold most of his equipment and records. I hope he has this one still available tho. So I that when I purchase my first turn table I can play the old 45s lol.
