How to make a Fashion Style notebook Part .2

This is part II of my fashion binder tutorial:

Step 1. Find mags that are inspirational to you and the kind of binder you want to make.

I then put all of my supplies together like my scissors, page protectors, construction paper, markers, colored pencils, etc.

Whatever gets you in the crafty mood. Stickers too!
Each page I do usually has a theme which makes it easier for me to find when i need inspiration for a certain color or a particular style. I can even pull out the page i want whenever I go shopping so I don't have to bring the whole binder with me. The issue is I have run out of mags to use and page protectors. I also need to buy a bigger binder than the one I store them in now only because it is becoming a bit over crowded and my binder is growing into color swatches. The binder also helps me with my sketches. I hope this helps you all. Scraping for as a hobby is so relaxing and therapeutic for me. It takes my mind off of life's problems and tribulations. Thanks so much for reading. Stay tuned for the final project.
p.s. email me some of your scraping ideas starrpynk@yahoo.com

Fashion Style Notebook Part 1

Hey all. As some of you already know I love me some fashion. I just always have ever since I was a little girl. Playing dress up and Barbie's were my life back then. When I was about 11 or 12 I became a magazine addict. I mean a really bad one too. First there were the Cosmos my mom used to find at the airport she worked at. Then I went to more age appropriate mags like Teen People, YM, Twist, Seventeen, Cosmogirl; you get the drift. Around this time I also started scraping notebooks for my fav band at the time; BSB. As well as scraping just for fun. Cutting up my magus. And from there on I continued to cut and paste.

Organizing my wardrobe

This closet was I believe like 30 bucks. My dad purchased it for me to put alllll my clothing in. But because I have way to much clothes this is more like a quarter of my wardrobe. Plus I kinda dbled up on the hanger space. Placing more than one item on hangers. I suggest a clothing rack rather than a closet like this one only because I have issues with the middle bar being pulled down too low. Other than that it's all good. And they keep out the dust bunnies.

Starr life and home blog!

Hey ya'll. Come support my NEW blog: http://starrlifeandhome.blogspot.com/
My blog here is mostly TV stuff and fashion and some spiritual stuff too. But I have an itch to craft at times. I love to cook and buy food. I cut coupons out. I guess you can say I am domesticated to an extent. Like for my own pleasures I try and organized because I love order. And I like things tidy and clean. Although I am a little bit messy. But I have learned that as you get older, things just work better organized. So I have decided to start a craft/cooking/organizational blog. Check it out and refer it to your friends. And no I will not stop blogging on this blog. Like I said before this blog is more entertainment and spiritual stuff. Where as my new blog is more for at home/practical everyday lifestyle stuff.
Happy Tuesday!!

How to***Organizing your time/projects

In order for me to be organized is to write everything down. Once I write it down, whether I get to it or not I will always have it written somewhere. I find places to write things the most inexpensive way possible. For example in college, I used a day planner to write down my assignments, exams, trips etc. That was my go to stay or feel completed. Like I said I knew things for me get done when I wrote them down. I forget things all the time and find that writing things down help me out a lot.

Now that I have graduated from college, I have found myself keeping more and more post it notes. But because post it notes aren't together, they end up everywhere in my house. So instead I have decided to put them in my daily notebook. This way I can see them when I check out what I need to do.

At the current moment I have a binder, notebooks, and folders I use to organize home projects. And to also organize any business ventures I have going on.

My binder is divided into sections:
First section is my year projects broken down into categories such as bedroom, kitchen, etc.
Second and third section consists of my blog ideas and posts.
There is also a grocery or store coupon section that also consists of a folder for the coupons.
Another section is for my recipes that I want to try. I usually write those down on index cards and place the index cards for now in a folder. I will soon purchase some recipe plastic card holders.

I also have a notebook I use for everyday organization. It is portable so I usually take that to the grocery store with me. I stick my post it notes on there. Whatever needs to be done daily, usually goes in there. It becomes so much at times so recently I just go bi-weekly. Instead of trying to squeeze so many things into one day.

Hope these tips help. Stay tuned for my wish list.
Thank you
God Bless
