I have seen these shoes on so many men. First was Wendy Williams's stylist then her videographer. Then while watching Dr. OZ he also had on a pair. They are men shoes but I love them and they seem so comfy. Price:$198.00 Which isn't bad but I know some of us out there can't afford such expensive shoes. These are definitely an investment so I suggest buying suede protectant. Are you buying them? Or is the investment too expensive? Pynkstarr

research mishap!!-Don't believe the Hype

Hola Chicitas!!

Lately as you all may know, I have been exploring the realm of transitioning from relaxers to completely natural. Completely natural not necessarily meaning all "natural" or "organic" products. But no relaxers. For ever!!! I have been learning so much about different ingredients. I never associated looking at ingredients for my hair as I have for my skin. You hair doesn't break out when it doesn't like something. As far as my skin is concerned, I know what works and what doesn't but by brand and not by ingredient. I never thought that maybe the brand isn't the issue, maybe its the ingredient thats the issue. Doing google searches for a a curious 'transitioner' such as myself is epic #FAIL. I say this because being new to anything comes with learning from your mistakes. My major numero uno mistake, believing everything I hear and read. Second mistake is then to make new purchases of products that may or may not even work. I was lucky enough to catch myself last night from having a major break down.

I decided to research words on the backs of all my products. And when I say almost all my products caused some form of "Cancer" i mean it. There was something wrong with everything I own. My BF told me to breathe, relax, people say things on forums all the time. Thats when I realized how venerable I really was. Believing in the internet is a big NO NO.

So I have vowed to from now on when researching, don't believe the hype :)

Please if you are in transition, or even if you get relaxers, here are some tips:

1) Don't believe everything you read online, or what people tell you. Whether you know them or not. What works for your favorite youtuber/blogger may not work for you. What works for your parents may not work for you. And what may work for your brother's girlfriend's daughter's aunt's cousin's baby daddy may also not work for u. Do your OWN research. Make your OWN decisions based on your hair, skin, life, etc

More Shoes....Pt. 1

As you all know, I have a fascination with shoes. Buit whats funny is I HATE feet so much. Yucky!!. Well since I can remember, I have had a facination with shoes...I own about 100 pairs of shoes. Now out of those I only wear about 60 pairs monthly...I mean I switch up a lot and some of them just are just played out, but I can't seem to part ways with them. Any way I was searching as usual, decided to share some new loves and sites with ya'll :)

I enjoyed looking through the shoe catalog at makemechic.com, but my fave pairs were the blues....I know they aren't in season yet; but they are super gorgeous.

I will probably not be buying shoes from here though, not because I have anything against them, but because I feel as though they will not last on a my feet more than an hour....would I be able to take it? I guess you can't judge a blog by its shoe catalog....lol. but most the these shoes are under $40.00...And I say you get what you pay for...

So I'm chilling and bored as heck!! But on my usual quest when I am bored, I found SHOES!! Entyhoo, I was reading a blog post featuring Ciara's Versace shoes. Ohhh M Gee they are so cute. They are called Intrecciata metal platform sandals by Versace

They are cutest, sexiest shoes I've saw. As my idol Rachel Zoe would say I Die!!! They are about 1975 euro and $2643.44 america at net-a-porter. Versace is my newest fave shoe. I someday aspire to buy something as hot as these or at least have them loaned to me...lol

I finally went to Zara's the other day...luckily I went because they are having a sale where some of there things are 60-70% off. Loved it!!!! Yay. Scored this blazer for 30 bucks and two shirts for $5.00 each. Cant believe how cool they were minus the stuck up ppl that kept looking at me...w/e.

It finally came...yay. I have Officially just received my first makeup palette. I am soooo excited to play with the new colors that I cant wait. So far so good though. I ordered two palettes : neutral and the 120 color palette no.2. They arrived unbroken which is great. I was scared they'd be cracked, but luckily they came undamaged. I'm going to use them first before I say whether or not they are the best palettes out right now. My next palette will be the costal scents.
