My first experience on a train.....Tips for taking an Amtrak Train Overnight.

Hey all I just got back from such a wonderful trip to Florida to visit my boo and I must say it was so much fun...once I arrived. The ride there was awesome but it was extremely long and exhausting. The best parts were the fact that my mommy came with me, being able too see nature and different towns. But that's basically it. If you have to ride OVERNIGHT and if you have about a grand to spare then I suggest you get a roomette. We had a coach seat which wasn't too too bad, but after about the first 10 hrs your butt falls asleep. Then when it's time for lights out, around 10pm, and you began to get tired finding a comfortable sleeping spot was difficult for my mom and I. Her more than me because of her height. I am only 4'10'' so I was kinda able to curl up in a ball on the seat. I can't sleep sitting up, but if you can then do you boo. Otherwise get a room!!!

I called this trend like 3 yrs ago in my fashion forecasting course. No one was feeling it at first but then they came around. Now everywhere you turn someone has them on. I love them so much, but sadly this trend will eventually fade away like other fads. But until then enjoy these photos.

My Vision board plus pics

I have been working on this vision board for about 2 years now. It started out small but now has grown to be this humongous. This is fine with me except for the fact it is taking a lot more time to finish than I thought. I guess it's a process. And of course I am enjoying the cutting out of magazines part of it. 

This board does not represent the year that I am in but it represents the state of mind I am in. Goals I want to accomplish someday. I say someday because I have learned that for me it's best to just say if I complete something this year then awesome, but if I don't then o well there is always next. Some may say that crazy to not set deadlines, but I say who cares. I have to live my life for me. I spent a lot of my life living under the pressure to complete something by a certain time and if I didn't then I beat myself up pretty hard about it. Spending days feeling badly about something is a lot worse than not completing a goal. I am going to completely absolutely everything on this board in God's timing. And when I do it will be time to move on to the next vision board. 

Most on the things on my board represent people I admire a lot, relationships I aspire to have, jobs I'd like to do, my faith in God and so many other things. People who are doing what I love to do like write and blogging are such inspirations to me. I'd like to be where they are and better. Having a beautiful relationship someday would also be absolutely awesome. I look at my board everyday. Sometimes I add things, sometimes I subtract things, sometimes I'll remove a picture one day then put it back up the next. It all depends on the way the wind blows that day.

My fave Beyonce staples in Run the World video

Hey ya'll, I really enjoyed the wardrobe chosen for the Run the world video so much. Esp. the Alexander Mcqueen dress. That one to me was my absolute fave. But I saw a few ppl complaining about her cutting the Emilio Pucci dress up. To me it was just a signature move. Plus the choreography may have been in the way of the dress. And she probably really wanted to wear it. So they cut the slits in.

Review of Wet and Wild Mega Last Lip Color!!!

Hola Chicitas,

I bought these lip sticks about a month ago, and have been using them since then. I was gonna post like a haul and tell you to go out and catch the sale, but I got so sidetracked due to my job. Not having enough time to take the pictures and post them, or even write a full fledged review. Now you may ask what makes me an expert on makeup to review it? Well I have been wearing cosmetic products since I was 4 or 5. I know it's young to many but it was just lip gloss or colored glosses. Plus my aunt would sneak it on me because she was a makeup artist. So, I may not be an expert but I know a lottt.

Lets get to it shall we.

I purchased two colors because of the sale at Walgreens (20% off). Then I fell so in love with them, I went back and bought 4 more colors. (at the time of pictures one color was missing ={).

Price: $2-3 (wait for the sales to get them cheaper)

Packaging: Horrible. Its gets an F because if you twist the tube too much it the whole thing comes out. Also, the black stuff on the base from the tube on two of the tubes came off in my hands. Gross.

Quality: In order to not have that cracking on your lips you'd have to wear a primer, or you can just reapply all day. The quality isn't gliding. But after a few coats, is goes on smooth.

Grade: C+, only because I love the colors and it does last a long time.....which can be good for some and not others.

I have been trying to catch all the runway shows for this year's fashion week. But I don't have a great internet connection, therefore preventing me from live streaming. I just love fashion no matter what form it comes in. Heck I just love ART!!

Alexander Wang is pretty cute and he has the hottest bags I've ever seen before, sold at Barney's. This year compared to last year his fabrics are more lighter. From what appeared to be silks and chiffons. Colors were light mint, like a daffodil color, golden and white. He did a few jackets. So far I also haven't seen any exposed zippers in the photos I saw. A few vests that were a lil longer and one cute bolero. Overall his collection was good. I see myself maybe jumping into the whole lace thing again for spring. But here are my fave AW looks....ta-ta!!

Go bh cosmetics

It finally came...yay. I have Officially just received my first makeup palette. I am soooo excited to play with the new colors that I cant wait. So far so good though. I ordered two palettes : neutral and the 120 color palette no.2. They arrived unbroken which is great. I was scared they'd be cracked, but luckily they came undamaged. I'm going to use them first before I say whether or not they are the best palettes out right now. My next palette will be the costal scents.
